Braid Biz, LLC is a beauty supply store which houses a hair braiding shop. Braid Biz seeks to empower minorities in two ways: teach individuals who have or desire to have the skill of braiding and styling hair how to capitalize off of their skill and become legitimate entrepreneurs; and
to develop an agreement with the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services whereby the stylist at Braid Biz, LLC can assist foster parents and group homes with the care and maintenance of the hair of ethnic youth in the Cabinet’s care to boost their self-esteem and well-being.
